Sugar Free Chocolate Sorbet

1Freeze the bowl of your ice cream maker (per manufacturer's instructions)

2In a medium saucepan, mix together the water, cocoa powder, and Agave nectar on medium heat (Bring to a boil).

3Remove from the heat and add the chopped chocolate.

4After 30 seconds, add the vanilla and salt. Whisk the mixture until the added chocolate is completely melted.

5Let the mix cool, and then refrigerate it. Once it is chilled, mix it around once more and put it into your ice cream machine. Once it is done, empty the ice cream machine into appropriately sized bowls.


1/2 cup of agave nectar

1/3 cup of finely chopped Scharffen Berger unsweetened chocolate

1/3 cup of Fry's unsweetened cocoa powder (or another type of unsweetened cocoa powder)

1 cup (+2 tablespoons) of water

1/4 tsp. of vanilla extract

A pinch of salt
